Samoohika Sathyanarayana Puja 10.00 AM (virtual)

On the auspicious occasion of Sharad Pournima, priests will perform annabhishekam to Lord Shiva and abhishekam to Sri Mata on Friday October 30th from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

Priests will conduct Satyanarayana puja at the temple and registered devotees will do the puja from their homes following the priests instructions.

General Pooja Requirements
New or clean cloth for the peetam (table where you keep all deities)
Rice (1 or 2 lbs)
Kalasha  – 2 (or one kalasha and one tumbler/glass), Kalasha vastra (1 blouse bit if available)
Haldi , kumkum 1 packet each
Flowers (2 bunches), Fruits – 3 varieties (Banana+Apple+Orange), Coconuts (2)
Pan leaves  – 12 (If Available), Beetal Nuts (or supari nuts) – 15
Deepa (Diyyas) , Agarbathi – 1 pkt.
Gandha / Sandlewood paste
Akshatha
Panchapathra, Uddarane,  (Cup and spoon)
Paper Plates, Napkins,
Quarters / Coins – Change  – 6 coins
Sathyanarayana Swamy Photo, Mahalakshmi + Vishnu/Krishna/SN Vigraha (any Vishnu related is ok)
Ghanta / Bell (If available)
Arathi Holder (Aarathi Cup)
Camphor / Oil or Ghee dipped Cotton Wicks

Moon – Rice – 10-20gms
Mars – Toor Dal – 10-20gms
Mercury – Green Dal (Moong Dal)  – 10-20gms
Jupiter – Channa Dal / Kadalai   –  10-20gms
Venus – black-eye peas or any white beans – 10-20gms
Saturn – Black Til   – 10-20gms
Rahu – Urud Dal — 10-20gms
Ketu – Horse gram   – 10-20gms
Mruthynjaya – One Gud Piece (jaggery)  – 1 piece
