DESCRIPTION:Register for the 5K TEMPLE RUN Online – https://5ktemplerun.itsyourrace.com/event.aspx?id=10419 \n \nThe 5th annual Temple 5K run will be held at the Tanglewood Park\, 4061 Clemmons Road\, Clemmons NC.\nIt’s not just a race\, but an event to strengthen and support our community and raise funds for a nonprofit  501 c(3) organization\, Om Hindu Organization of Winston-Salem\, NC.  \nEmbrace a new challenge.  If you are looking for a flat\, slight elevation course with ideal weather\, the 5k Temple Run is the perfect race for you and will help you achieve your best possible race.  Established in “2017” the 5k Temple Run hosted in Clemmons \, NC around Earth Day\, takes the runners through beautiful safe communities.  The purpose of this event is to create awareness and promote a healthy lifestyle  across our community.  A healthy body and mind is a prerequisite to a blessed life.  This year we are partnered with Second Harvest and we would welcome any can food donations on race day.  “FEED THE HUNGRY!!!!!!! \nEarly Bird pricing is OPEN now and will close on Midnight\, August 1st.\nRegister prior to July 31st to guarantee a T-Shirt.\nRace Day registration prices will be $50/ 5k and $25/ Fun Run so don’t wait. \n5K Run/Walk \nNew course with START/FINISH at Shelter 2.\nWater stations are positioned approximately every mile along the course.\nThe first aid tent and the restrooms are at the finish line.  \nVirtual 5k Challenge \nHere’s the  scoop.  Create a 5k course at your home base and run it recording your time.  E-mail your time to andy@finishlinetimingnc.com  \nWe must receive a valid time on or before Saturday\, October 10th.  We will mail you your GOODIE pack the week following event. \nWhat do you get? \nT-shirt\, Discounts and promotions from area businesses/sponsors (found in the race packet).\nFinisher’s medal (5k runner only).\nSatisfaction of knowing that you helped to build a stronger community and/or raising funds for a noble cause.\n \nTiming system \nTiming is done by the Finish Line Timing.  \nAwards\nOur event is proud to be a part is “2023” Edition of the Piedmont Race Series powered by Finish Line Timing and sponsored by DICK’S Sporting Goods.  The BEST award prizes in the Triad.  Awards for Top 3 Overall Female & Male finishers and Top 3 Female & Male Age Group finishers 14 & Under\, 15-19\, 20-24\, 25-29\, 30-34\, 35-39\, 40-44\, 45-49\, 50-54\, 55-59\, 60-64\, 65-69 and 70+.  The award prizes are DICK’S Bonus Certificates that spend like CASH at any DICK’S location or Golf Galaxy.
